After Hours Emergency Care
Our clinic is open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm, we are closed on weekends and public holidays.
Emails can be sent to info@mrah.com.au at any time and will be responded to as soon as possible.

We are not a 24 hour hospital however we work in affiliation with VetChat to provide 24 hour veterinary advice via phone support. A qualified veterinarian is available via this service to assess your pet’s condition and advise on the most appropriate course of action. To contact VetChat after hours please call our regular clinic number on (02) 6054 1838.

If the veterinarian believes your pet is a true emergency and requires after hours veterinary care a triage process will be initiated to ensure you and your pet have access to veterinary attendance outside of business hours.
We work in affiliation with Townsend Veterinary Clinic in Albury and Lakeroad Veterinary Clinic in Wagga Wagga to ensure a veterinarian is available at all times.
Lakeroad Veterinary Clinic are our closest clinic that are staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This service is important for our most critical cases that require round the clock care.

Between 5:30pm and 11pm the VetChat veterinarian will organise a vet from either Murray River Animal Hospital or Townsend Veterinary Clinic to attend to your pet and you will be advised as to which clinic you are required to take your pet.

Between 11pm and 7am your pet will be referred to Lakeroad Veterinary Clinic in Wagga Wagga due to their 24 hour availability.

Working as a team with our fellow clinics and veterinary services is paramount to vet and nurse safety and wellbeing. Your support and understanding is greatly appreciated.
